The Bucs’ and Titans’ dilemma, and other playoff musings
The limitations of quarterbacks Vince Young and Jeff Garcia sank the Titans and Bucs last week. There should be no such worries for the Patriots and Colts this week, however. In my latest column for Bullz-Eye.com, I look deeper into the QB issues facing the Titans and Bucs, as well as various other NFL playoff topics.

As a Tampa Fan I think the Bucs did as good as they could. This is not a perfect Team at all, they have guys that are too new or too old but they played hard all year and did not give up. I think the attitude reflects the coach and that is a good thing. It would have been a suprise to see them go any deeper in the playoffs.
They came out and whipped the Saints and they beat everybody in their division and that is what a Team needs to do. You have to start there.
Lets see what happens next year with a healthy Williams, another year under Gains Adams and maybe a first string QB and then we’ll judge the recievers.
I agree – they made some big strides this year. The only negative was – they didn’t play intense football after they beat Atlanta to clinch … they didn’t seem playoff ready for 60 min vs the Giants. They can be better next year.
