Another interesting column, and perhaps the most important, would be win percentage.

Jeff,

I understand what your talking about in the chewing the receiver argument but maybe they have worked on it so many times and he keeps getting it wrong that favre can no longer understand why he is f-ing up. When you work hours upon hours and still see signs of miscommunication it gets frustrating for anyone. I dont see it being a problem if this is the case, but if not then I see your point.

Favre is the greatest competitor that anyone of us has ever seen. You show me somebody that can start that many games in a row and still be everything but a gimp, while my friends, being a CHAMPION as well. Nobody is better than him - Yes Denver fans - not even ugly ass ELWAY!

Of course, I think you nailed it right to the wall. Favre makes every play interesting - he fights like hell to win no matter what the situation. It is pure joy watching him play, and football is (lest we forget) entertainment.

Is Favre the best QB? I don't much worry about that. He's my favorite; that's what matters to me.

About the only thing that has bugged me recently is his occasional chewing on a receiver on the field. If the guy ran the wrong route, let him know when he gets back to the huddle or over on the sidelines. Chewing them out on the field seems petty to me. I haven't seen that recently, and I'm happier for it.
