Reggie Bush has a torn PCL and may not play Monday night. With Pierre Thomas hobbled by a kidney injury, Aaron Stecker figures to get most of the work if Bush can’t go. Pick him up if you can, because there is speculation that Bush may be out for a while.

The sophomore jinx takes it’s toll. You have to wonder if Bush will ever be worth the hype.
I think this season is proof how much the Saints need Deuce McAllister. It’s clear that Payton doesn’t want to rush Bush up the middle in short yardage situations and with how fast defenses are in the NFL, you can’t always pick up first downs rushing to the outsides.
He is just not an everydown back ……..
How do the Texans look now for taking Williams instead of Bush? The jury is still out on Young but they have Schaub anyway, if they could just protect him.
Houston made the right choice.
Aren’t we all being a little hard on Reggie? So he tore a tendon. It happens to the best of them.
This is a guy that is averaging 82 total yards from scrimmage and 0.5 TD through 28 games. That works out to a 1312-yard, 8 TD season. I don’t think he’s a bust. He’s just not a traditional RB. He’s a Westbrook type, and that’s working OK in Philly.
Oh no…he’s far from a bust. But Houston got ripped by the media for drafting Williams and neither Bush or Young has been lighting up the pros.
Westbrook is good but if you’re using him as a measuring stick, I hope Bush has a good health insurance plan.
Williams is coming along.
Westy has a rep for being injury prone, and although he’s on the injury report almost every week, he has only missed 11 games in six years, and a few of those were elective when the Eagles were out of the playoff hunt. He’s not Mr. Durable, but he’s not missing chunks of time with injuries either.
I heard Westy got a hyperbaric chamber to help his body heal faster. Reggie should look into that.
He was hyped as the Michael Jordan of football and anyone would be crazy to pass on him as the #1 pick.
He’s not one of the best players at his position, let alone the NFL. He’s a good players, but as the #1 pick in the draft he’s a bust in my opinion.
Also, he hasn’t shown he can be a Westbrook yet. Bush had the luxury of playing on a great offense where another back did the dirty work.
I don’t think he’s lived up to the hype, but he’s played pretty well, which gets him out of the bust category (in my opinion). Besides, that’s more of a judgement of the hypers than the hypee.
I think if all the GMs ranked all the RBs on a list, he would fare pretty well.
Westbrook has a knack for avoiding contact, especially when he runs up the middle. Bush seems to take bigger hits, probably because he’s taller and runs more upright. If Reggie wants to play 10 or 12 years, he’s going to have to learn to avoid hits, not deliver them. He’s a terrific receiver and great in space.
