The BCS gets what it wants (again)
In a truly chaotic college football season, the BCS got exactly what it wanted: a marquee matchup between two big schools for the National Championship game. And while Ohio State/LSU isn’t the game everyone wanted, I note in my latest column for Bullz-Eye.com that it’ll likely be enough to keep BCS apologists happy for another year.

The BCS got lucky. This is probably the best matchup.
It’s a good matchup, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that six or seven other teams have legitimate arguments to play in that game.
You guys are right – Big Schools – Big attraction. Worthy ?
Possibly the best matchup but they applied different rules to Ohio State than they did to Georgia. I’m not saying Georgia deserved to be there but if the Buckeyes get to move up without playing, why didn’t the Bulldogs? The only thing the BCS Championship proves in this format is the best team of two conferences.
There isn’t a team in the Big Ten that’s as good as the top 4 SEC teams. I can only hope LSU beats down Overrated State University the way Florida did last year.
