(5 of 8 opponents were in the playoffs last year while we were not. 3 were divisional champs. Denver beat Pittsburgh the week before we took it to them at home. Noooo . . . we don't play anybody.)

Matthew's right - we don't really play anybody, don't have a running game, our interior offensive line is pretty weak, we give up a hundred yards in penalties each game, we cough up the turnovers and everybody knows Favre can't throw the deep ball anymore . . . but somehow we're 7-1

I'd love to see what this team could do if they were actually playing well.

I'm not trying to be a jerk Matthew, but who would you put in the No. 5 spot than?

The Giants? The Packers blasted the G-Men 35-13 earlier this year. The Lions? Their offense is solid, but their defense has overachieved thus far. The Chargers? They just lost in Minnesota. The Redskins? Completely shredded by New England and then had to battle back to eek out a win in overtime against the 1-7 Jets. The Browns? Good offense - defense is brutal. The Saints? Let's wait and see on them.

The Titans might have an argument with how good their defense is, but Vince Young is barely throwing over a hundred yards a game and has turned the ball over in six out of the seven games he's played in.

I think Favre and the Packers are playing better ball right now...
