Let’s start with a few leftovers from last week’s thread:
Kicker: Should I pick up Ron Dayne instead of Weaver? I already picked up Echemandu.
Yes, with Ahman Green out, Dayne is the starter for now, which means he holds more value than weaver.
Kicker: Sorry, who would you pick up if you have to choose 1 of the following: L.Weaver, M.Morris, R.Dayne, D.Ward, D.Lee (TE), C.Henry (WR), R.Grant, K.Clemens?
It depends on what my team’s needs were but Dayne or Grant look like good pickups. Ward is the best player of the bunch, but he’s nicked up and Brandon Jacobs is playing well.
Dawg: Brown is on fire!! Should I pick up P.Dawson and drop K.Brown?
Both are good plays at K, but Dawson’s numbers will probably be more consistent because the Browns’ offense is pretty good.
Scorpion: JP, need your help picking my line-up for week 9
QB = J.Kitna or C.Lemon or K.Clemen ?
WR1 = R.Wayne
WR2 = P.Crayton or B.Stokley or D.Patten ?
RB1 = Willie Parker
RB2 = R.Johnson or J.Jones or A.Echemandu or J.Fargas or L.Weaver ?

It’s better to ask lineup questions on Wednesday or Thursday because I have more data and info to work with, but right now I’d go with Kitna, Crayton, Rudi (if he plays, Fargas if he doesn’t), Fargas/J. Jones, Dawson (or Brown).
gators: for rb pik 2: henry or young if he doesnt play, green, norwood, foster?
for wr pik 3: smith, edwards, cotchery, chambers, white, jurevicious?
for k pik 1: graham, bironas, brown, reed, rayner?

Dayne would probably be a better play than Foster due to the matchup.

He had a bad week, but before the bye he caught 10 passes for 136 yards and a score. He has two very nice matchups in the next four weeks. I’d hold onto him, but it doesn’t hurt to shop him around. I certainly wouldn’t give him away. He’s still a top 10 WR, even with Carr throwing to him.
McNabb (vs Dallas) or Hassleback (vs Browns)?

Zookeeper – McNabb vs. Hasselbeck. That’s a good question. The two players are neck in neck in the scoring system I use. Hass is on the road while McNabb is at home, but Hass has a much better matchup. I’d go with Hasselbeck against the Browns.
WR: Right now, I’d rank them just as you have them: Crayton, Stokley (as long as Walker is out), Moose and Patten.
Zoolander: Start Kitna. I know he hasn’t been great the last few weeks, but DEN pass D is fairly vulnerable and Kitna is due to throw a TD or two.

do u think steven jackson will turn it around after his past injury and recent injury last week, or do i try to trade him?
Scorpion: Kitna, Wayne, Stokley, Parker, Rudi and Fargas…I’d go with Dawson, just because he’s playing at home. He, Brown and Crosby are very close this week. I’d put Harrison ahead of Pittman, but it’s a tough call to cut any of those other guys for him.
WR: Another good week and Patten becomes a viable WR3.
gators: Jackson has a bulging disk in his back, which doesn’t sound very good. I’m not particularly optimistic on his chances to be a RB1 this season so you may want to shop him around and see if anyone will bite. Post your trade offers here and I’ll give you my thoughts.
Who’s going to get the bulk of the carries, Rudi Johnson or Kenny watson? I need to start one, but don’t want to risk starting both. I play for yardage and touchdowns
Leon: That’s a good question. I wish I could give you a guarantee on my answer. If you don’t play in a PPR league, then you should go with Rudi who is practicing fully this week. The Bengals have said they want to spell Rudi more often, but I get the feeling that he’s still the clear RB1 in Cincy and he should get most of the goal line carries.

gators: I’d trade him for LT (fat chance), Peterson, Westbrook, Addai, Bush, Parker, LJ and Gore. Alexander, Barber and KJ are also possibilities.
gore farve and s moss for smith jackson and kitna?
I don’t think I’d do that. Moss is a big downgrade from Smith, a bigger downgrade than Gore is as an upgrade from Jackson. Favre and Kitna are about the same, though Favre has had the better season thus far. But when things get cold in GB, his numbers tend to decline.
westy and colston for smith and jackson?
mite not do that… if that doesnt work shud i do westy and porter/toomer for smith and jackson?

in my scoring sytsem west is ranked 9th best overall, 4th best rb

DEF – That’s a close call. I like the WAS defense a little better but HOU has OAK, which is a good matchup. I’d go with the Texans.
RB – Portis and Jones-Drew. No telling what’s going on at RB in OAK.
WR: Evans has a terrfic matchup and is starting to come on. Then it’s a pretty close call between Curtis, Hackett and Bowe. (Branch will probably miss.) I’d go with Curtis if this is a PPR league. PHI will probably have to pass a ton and DAL is weak against opposing WRs. Bowe would be my pick in a standard league, though Curtis would be a good play as well.
gators – If you have the chance to get Westy, I’d jump on it. Westy, Colston and Rivers for Jackson, Smith and Kitna sounds pretty good. Westy is playing much better than Jackson, Colston is coming on, there are worries about Smith’s QB, and Rivers is playing well.

Hey JP, which WR do you like more in a PPR league this week: Welker or Fitzy? I could play Evans too in a great matchup but I don’t think I can bench either guy for the spotty Evans.
Also, rank these flex plays in a PPR league: Fitz, Lamont and Marshall.
Astro – Marvin for Shaun is a fair trade, though I’m a little worried about Marvin’s balky knee right now.
QB Issues – Suisham has the best matchup.
defenses – I like HOU this week, though WAS is an interesting play against a new QB. ATL and OAK also have good matchups.
Scorpion – It depends on the rest of my roster. Patten looks like a keeper. Harrison might be the guy if Jamal goes down and is already more involved in the passing game. After that, I’d probably keep Dayne until Echemandu establishes himself as the starter.
JEC – Boy, Welker and Fitz both have awful matchups, but I agree, you can’t trust Evans over those two. I guess I’d go with Welker – the Pats have looked unstoppable so far.
I’d rank those Fitz, Marshall and LaMont. I’m concerned about Jordan.

So, you suggest I should keep D.Patten, Ron Dayne and Jerome Harrison? Is that right? Instead of Echemandu, Chris Henry (WR) and Michael Pittmand.
Yeah, those three look good. (or as good as these flyer-type guys can look.)

gators – it looks like Green may start, but he’ll probably be part of a committee. I’d watch the inactives (on Rotoworld) leading up to the afternoon games and start Dayne if Green ends up sitting.
gators – Henry is still the starter and may be for the rest of the fantasy season since his hearing may not be heard until after Thanksgiving. He has a great matchup against the Lions today.

For week 10,
I have Reggie Wayne as my WR1, and Plaxico Burress as my WR2.
For my W/R spot, should I go for Brandon Stokley, David Patten (he is on fire lately), Patrick Crayton (he hasn’t done anything lately), Michael Robinson (do you think Frank Gore will out again?) ?
RB1 , I have Speedy WIllie, RB2 is a big headache… should I continue to hope Rudi will make a come back? Or should I go with Justin Fargas or Julius Jones?
I left 38 points on the bench last week… Ron Dayne, David Patten and Julius Jones…
