Anthony - In a 12-team league, Davis has been going anywhere from the early 6th to the late 7th. In a 10-team league, that relates to the 7th/8th rounds. Assuming you're talking about a 12-team league, if you really want him, you may have to burn a 5th if you have an early pick in the odd rounds. I think he's being drafted a bit too soon - there are more proven guys like Shockey, Winslow and Cooley being drafted after him, so I would wait until the 6th and see who's there. There looks to be a step down after this tier to Witten and a big step down after that, so be sure to grab one of the top 8 TEs (Gates, Gonzo. Heap, Shockey, Cooley, Davis, Winslow or Witten).

Gator Bait - I like Peterson long term, but he is an injury risk and there's no guarantee that next season won't be in a RBBC in Minny. Considering you have to part with a 4th (or even earlier pick in a keeper league) to get him, I think Turner is a better value because his stock is going to jump next summer when he lands somewhere else.

Regarding your question, I think I'd stick with Bulger, Gore, McGahee and potentially Parker (over Rudi, but Rudi is nice too). It's tempting to grab Manning, but if I remember correctly, you have to give up a higher draft pick to keep Deuce than you did Bulger, and the upgrade from Bulger to Manning doesn't seem to be worth the downgrade in RB3 from Deuce to Parker.

JP - Good article but I would move Adrian Peterson to the top of that list (even with the RBBC).

Guys, there has been a twist in my keeper plans. If you remember, I'm keeping Gore, McGahee and Bulger. However, new developments have left me with the opportunity to draft Peyton Manning at #6 in a keeper league draft.

Do I pick up Manning and keep Deuce McAllister as my RB3 or stick with Bulger and best RB available (most likely Rudi Johnson or Willie Parker)?

I love Manning's consistency with that 3-WR set. Bulger is solid but tends to lay eggs at the most unopportune times. I don't think I could go wrong either way. What are your thoughts on this new development?

JP - I've got mad man-love for Vernon Davis ever since I scouted him for last year's draft. I think he's going to be amazing for years to come, but what round do I take my shot? I was thinking fifth or sixth, but I'm almost positive he'll be gone by then...thoughts?
