As for booing the man instead of the roids - I say no. I watched Sammy Sosa hug Mark McGwire as he rounded first after a homer, and my heart just beamed. i loved baseball again that year he hit 70. My wife bought me a mounted photo of the two men together, and it was one of my fondest wishes to have those men sign it. It's since become painfully clear that they were both juiced. I don't know where that photo is anymore, and I don't care. It's gonna be a while before I give a crap about major league baseball again. My son and I go to the local minor league park and watch the young guys go at it. The quality of the play is very good, the parks are smaller, the players don't have such attitudes, good seats are $10, and a hot dog is a buck and a half. Second that, T-bone. We all know it. Bonds should have learned from Pete Rose that confessing 20 years down the road isn't going to cut it with the fans. Fess up and they'd forgive. But his ego and his union wouldn't allow that.
