Tough game to predict.

Will Ohio State's experience negate the home field advantage of Texas?

Only think I will chip in is that I don't see this match as a high scoring affair as most do. I think both teams will have a few defensive tricks up their sleeves that might render the first half a fairly low scoring half.

how about 17 to 10 Bucks win

Hope so!

Both defenses are solid, but they don’t come without flaws:

Texas is a lot of trouble in their secondary with Brown not playing. Ted Ginn could get loose a couple times in the open field. If for some reason Texas has some success against him, it probably won’t come without trying to over play him and that may open lanes (both passing and running) for they other guys in that OSU offense (Smith, Pittman).

Ohio State on the other hand, looked susceptible to giving up large chunks on the ground last week to Northern Ill. Forget the 50+ yard run that Wolfe had last weekend in the second half. He was picking up five, six, seven yards a pop on the Buckeyes throughout the game.

I just think that both offenses are going to air it out and it’s going to be a show…

Both teams have good defenses, but they have a lot to prove. Meanwhile, Ohio State's offense is a real force. OSU should win this game, though I have no idea abou the over/under.

Excellent Analysis my man...

One thing I've learned about college football is to never underestimate the home field advantage. Texas not only has that, but they've got the confidence from beating Ohio St. last year as well. I think that on paper, you'd have to take Ohio St...but something tells me that Texas will pull this one out.

The oddsmakers set Texas as a 3 pt favorite...So you're thinking Ohio St and the over??? That's an awful lot of points for two teams with stellar defenses.
