A bunch of us decided to put our heads together on the year in sports and have some fun, in spite of all of the dark days, with what the world of sports has taught us, what we already knew, and what we have yet to learn. You can find the link here:
Enjoy, and let us know if we missed anything.

I thought it was funny. the only part i didn’t agree with is all the ragging you did on Carr. come on now, how the hell could he be a bad quarterback when he doesn’t even get a chance to throw the freaking ball? you think Brady and Manning would be HALF the QBs they are if they had Carr’s offensive line to protect them? sacks reflect more on the line than they do on the QB.
Here’s what I wrote about Carr:
The Texans thought they got their franchise QB, and still aren’t sure if they did. In Carr’s defense, it’s hard to throw an accurate pass from your back. He’s been sacked an astounding 191 times in 57 games (~3.4 sacks/game), including 110 sacks over the last two seasons (~3.8 sacks/game). Is that the fault of the offensive line or is he holding the ball too long? Probably a little bit of both.
I think I was more than fair…he needs a line before he can justify being taken as the #1 pick.
Either way, that Bang cartoon from Carr’s POV was hilarious, especially on the punt. I feel for the poor bastard.
